Wildlife Encounters Summer Day Camp

Give your child a summer filled with wonder, discovery, and connection at Wildlife Encounters! Set in the beautiful groves of California Citrus State Historic Park, this unique day camp invites children ages 3–11 to explore the natural world alongside experienced naturalists in a safe, engaging, and inspiring environment.

Campers will learn how to slow down and truly observe nature—using binoculars to spot birds, practicing the art of quiet observation, and developing skills in birdwatching and animal tracking. Each day is filled with hands-on exploration, interactive learning, and opportunities to connect with local wildlife and habitats.

In addition to nature study, children will participate in daily yoga sessions designed to build mindfulness, confidence, and body awareness. Through guided games and activities, campers will deepen their understanding of themselves, build friendships, and develop a sense of stewardship for the world around them.

Whether they’re discovering animal tracks, spotting a hawk in flight, or enjoying a peaceful moment under the trees, every day at Wildlife Encounters is an adventure in curiosity, calm, and connection.
