Megan Brousseau, President                                                                                                                                                                                   Megan Brousseau is a founding member and President of the Board at Inland Empire Kids Outdoors. She has spent over two decades developing programs that connect kids to nature and the outdoors. Through her work in the Inland Empire, Megan launched the first nature preschool in the region as well as a place-based summer camp that has connected hundreds of youth to the Santa Ana River. When she’s not working on outdoor learning opportunities, Megan can be found building community partnerships that increase livability and quality of life for the residents of the Inland Empire. Her passion lies in empowering her community and amplifying voices that need to be heard.  She lives with her husband and two children on her family ranch in her beloved city of Riverside.

Toni Kinsman, Secretary
A founding member of IEKO, Toni joined the group to share her passion for nature with her toddler and meet like-minded caregivers to create a community. Twelve years later, Toni is still an active member who now enjoys the outdoors with her three children and husband, Jeff. Toni holds an AS and a BAS in Early Childhood Studies, has served the City of Riverside at the Museum of Riverside for over 20 years, currently holding the position of Senior Office Specialist, and runs TK Consulting services where she serves the women and families of the Inland Empire with babywearing education and postpartum birth services. Toni uses her vast experience as a mother, educator, administrator, and community advocate to advise and support our organization in all aspects of operation in which she is needed.

Lisa Lennox, Treasurer
Lisa Lennox is a lifelong resident of Riverside where she lives with her husband and three daughters. Active in all aspects of our local community, Lisa is a Girl Scout Leader, a member of the National Charity League, and volunteers her time with a variety of charitable efforts that improve the quality of life of our neighbors and model empathy and service to her girls. Lisa holds a BS in Sociology and a Masters Degree in Secondary Special Education and Transition. She began her career as a teacher in 2000 and has served for 20 years in the field of special education, currently holding the position of Curriculum Program Specialist in the Colton Joint Unified School District. She brings with her a vast technical knowledge to help guide education programs and a heart for the service of children in the Inland Empire.

Melissa Marquez, Boardmember
Melissa Marquez is a wife and mom of three boys.  She works as a Certified Lactation Consultant, in Riverside teaching and helping families.   Melissa has worked with local families for nearly 14 years.  For over a decade, she was a pre-and post-natal fitness instructor, who also led playgroups that were focused on education through play.  She has also hosted local mom and baby meetups for new mothers.  Melissa has experienced the value of connecting families and getting our kids outdoors to connect them with the environment.  She knows that early connection with the outdoors can create an appreciation for our planet and develop future stewards for our environment. Melissa is an active participant of the Riverside community and loves to share the experiences she has within the city, with others in the community.  She sits on the board for IEKO and will work to support a learning environment that is inclusive and reflective of our beautifully diverse community.
